Covid- 19 Changes
SwimPerfect is working with Swim England Return to pool guidance. I would lie if I didn't admit that it hasn't come with it's challenges. We have adapted to the new environment that we find ourselves in and the new way of teaching. All Instructors adhere to social distancing whilst teaching and at the moment we don't get in the water with swimmers. Initially we were worried about how this would be possible especially with the younger swimmers however, we have found that the temporary way of teaching has amazed us. All beginners are next to the wall, we have plenty of floatation and with plenty of positive phrase and virtual high fives, swimmers have adapted so well.
Swim Perfect at Ripon Grammar has reduced our class size to 2 swimmers per class. There is a temporary price increase to allow us to adhere to the new changes- hopefully in time we will be able to increase the capacity and alongside drop the price increase.

Lockdown 3 update
We are aiming to go back to Ripon Grammar and Boroughbridge W/c 12th April all being well. We will be going back to both locations following Swim Englands Covid- 19 Guidance which hasn't changed since July. We are still unable to get in the water with swimmers and we have to maintain social distancing. So we will be going back to Ripon Grammar at reduced numbers. I am not taking any new swimmers on at Ripon Grammar- my priority is to get the swimmers we did have in March back into the water if they want to come back. If you were swimming with us back in March- don't worry I haven't forgot about you.
Boroughbridge swimmers- I will get in touch with everyone who had regular lessons before this lockdown to see if you still want your spaces.
I am hoping that by the 21st of June we can go back to 4 in a class and get back into the water with swimmers. Fingers crossed! If this is the case, we will be doing plenty of intensive swimming lessons over summer.
